Introduction

I am a young graphic design student currently studying at Hopwood Hall College at the Rochdale campus. I’m very confident with graphic design because it is my passion and I really enjoy creating something that could be published as something recognizable. I always put one hundred percent into all my assignments and projects. I’m eager to learn more about graphics in a university because I feel that graphic design is the industry I want be involved in. In my free time I’m keeping fit, playing my PlayStation and going out with my friends. The course would allow me to get better understanding overall of graphics, it will allow me to improve my skills in this industry and it will enable me to get the career I want.

My blog shows most of my best work from my two years at Hopwood Hall College.  These images represent how versatile I am and show’s my skills in Photoshop and Illustrator. It also shows some drawing, photography and art skills.

AFTERMATH 2013 Game Cover

This was a project what was given to us at collage we had to design a film/game cover and we had the option to work in a group of two which I did. I designed the front cover well on the other hand my friend designed the back cover and it turned out really well.

Book Covers

In this project we had to experiment with different type styles and layouts.These are the book covers we had to design, I had to use either an existing book or create my own from scratch. I based my books of a book called behind enemy lines which was a war themed book. The word cloud symbols are related to the different  wars and the highlighted colours in the word clouds are key words relating to the individual wars.

Cosmic Converse

This project we was told to make a range of three products, so I chose shoe boxes.These are my shoe capsules what are called COSMIC CONVERSE. The COSMIC CONVERSE consist of vortex,nebula and quasar which are all related to space. 

Illustration

I did this in my second year at collage and our project was to produce an illustration. I did my illustration of Hopwood hall collage overgrown in 2142.

Fire dragon manipulation

This is a image manipulation project which i did on photoshop, I thought I would try to make an epic fire dragon. I then had to manipulate the first image using different tools. I did this by making one look like a retro game and i also did one with the tablet.

Middleton Town Team Logo

This was my logo design for the Middle town team pop up shop what got published on the shop front.
